Get to Know Me: The Girl Behind the Blog

Since I’ve been blogging for a few months now, I wanted to answer some questions so you can get to know me better!

What is your name?

Kasey Orange

What does your name mean?

My name was given to me not because of the meaning but because of it being gender-neutral. My mom in particular liked that if I were to apply for a job, people wouldn’t know what gender I was. This is a quality that I really like and plan on continuing for my children!

Maryland

How tall are you?

5’5”

What year were you born?

1996

How many siblings do you have?

None, I’m an only child

Did you go to college?

Yes, I graduated from James Madison University. I majored in Media Arts and Design with a minor in Art History.

How do you describe yourself?

The honest funny girl that equally looks like she has it all together and is falling apart at the same time.

How many countries have you traveled to?

7 (France, Italy, Greece, England, Scotland, Belgium, Japan) 

Where do you want to travel?

In the US: Chicago, Nashville, Seattle, Portland, and Napa

Outside of US: Croatia, South Africa, Australia, and Fiji

How many books did you read last year?

46, I’m a huge bookworm

Tell us one thing about you that we wouldn’t have known?

I really enjoy singing and I have 10 ear piercings.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would live more in the moment. I’m a serial planner and over-thinker, so I know I would be a lot less anxious if I could just live in the moment more.

Three things that make you happy?

Spending time with friends/family, reading while listening to music, and experiencing art (going to a museum, seeing a play/musical, going to a concert or dancing).

What’s your zodiac sign?

I’m a Cancer. I was born on the first day of cancer (June 22nd) and find that it’s crazy accurate to my personality. 

What are your life goals?

To be happy, fulfilled, and maintain meaningful relationships.
