The Best Planners for 2021
Planners are one of my favorite things in the world! Every year for as long as I can remember, I’ve looked forward to picking out the planner that would help me achieve my goals for the next year. I don’t have the best memory so I’ve always relied on a planner to keep track of my appointments and the tasks that I have to complete.
As the years have gone on, more and more planner companies have emerged offering many more options for personalization and specification when it comes to picking out a planner. I’ve done a bunch of research and compiled all my favorites into one list that I’m going to share with you today! So here are my planner recommendations for 2021!
Daily Planners
Simplified by Emily Ley
I love the super simple design of the Simplified by Emily Ley Daily Planner. Each page has 3 sections, a time breakdown, a to-do list, and notes.
Day Designer
Day Designer has thought of everything when it comes to daily planning. Each page has a time breakdown, notes, to-do list, daily gratitude, meal plan, inspirational quote, top priorities, and more.
Weekly Planners
Erin Condren LifePlanner
The Erin Condren LifePlanner is by far the most popular planner out there. It comes in three layouts: horizontal, vertical, and hourly, and hundreds of cover options. It comes coiled and softbound, and the internal pages come in colorful and neutral options.
Unbound Planner
Unbound is a smaller company that has one main planner and is most known for their Five Year Journal. The Unbound Planner has a goal section in the beginning and comes in a vertical layout. Where this planner stands out to me is that each month and week have additional spreads that give you space to check in with your goals, keep track of your to-do lists, and take notes.
Goal Planners
Makse Life Planner
The Makse Life Planner has a goal system integrated into either a weekly horizontal or vertical planner. At the beginning you spend some time creating goals for the 8 major categories in life (physical health, mental health, friends/family, significant other, finances, etc.) and then each month and week, you break down your goals into smaller action items.
Cultivate what Matters Powersheets
The Powersheets are a little different from your general planner. It includes a very extensive goal setting section where through much reflection, you set up to 8 goals for the year. Then each month you get a monthly calendar and a tending list which allows you to check in with your goals and set monthly, weekly, and daily action items.
Most Customization
These planners allow for a lot of customization and personalization. Whether it’s your daily, weekly, and monthly spreads or additional add ons that cover other areas of your life, these planners have lots of options to choose from.
